If you previously listened to Vitalic’s music, you’ll be pleased to hear that I have recently interviewed him. If you don’t know much about Vitalic, I am happy to introduce you to an artist who not only invented the electronic music as it stands, but who also shaped and continuously developed the style.
Named Pascal Arbez in real life, Vitalic is a French musician, songwriter and remixer who began his career in the mid 1990s as part of the underground electronic music scene. Since raising to popularity in 2001 with his ‘Poney’ EP and “La Rock 01” track, the artist released two albums and started playing important music festivals in England and other European venues. As a trademark, Vitalic likes to combine music with light, making his live shows a multifaceted experience for fans.
Most recently, Vitalic finished a new album called ‘Rave Age’ and will soon be starting a 2 year-long tour in various locations on the globe. From the perspective of a journalist it has been a pleasure talking to him. He sounded very honest and committed to his music regardless of trends, numbers or peers’ opinions on himself.
‘Rave Age’ will be released on November 5. You can also see Vitalic live:
