Chemin de la Corniche and its surroundings

This pedestrian promenade, located in Luxembourg City, has often been referred to as ‘Europe’s most beautiful balcony’ and is a delight to stroll down during the day or night.

Chemin de la Corniche follows the narrow valley of the Alzette River along the old city walls of the fortifications built by the Spanish and Austrians in the 17th century.
